Rocky Mount, N.C. - Congratulations are in order for North Carolina Wesleyan freshman forward Andri Bjarnason, who was recently named to the All-South Atlantic Region Second Team in men's soccer!
Bjarnason, a native of Bolungarvik, Iceland, totaled 33 points on 14 goals and five assists this season. His 33 points ranked fourth in the USA South Conference, while his 14 goals tied for third. In league action only, Bjarnason led all players with 19 points on a Conference-high eight goals and three assists.
In addition to his All-Region selection, he earned First Team All-Conference accolades to go along with USA South Rookie of the Year honors this fall.
