Brandon Tew enters his second season with the North Carolina Wesleyan sports medicine staff. A native of Southern Pines, N.C., he comes to Wesleyan from East Stroudsburg University where he completed his M.S. in Athletic Training in 2013. Tew previously completed his B.S. degree at East Carolina University in 2011.
While at East Stroudsburg, Tew served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working primarily with football. Tew's additional experience includes one semester as a certified athletic trainer for nearby Pitt Community College, as well as completion of a summer internship with the NFL's New York Giants. He has also served as a First Responder with East Carolina's athletic camps.
A Certified Athletic Trainer, Tew is also an ASOP Registered Orthopedic Technologist. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, as well as the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association. He owns both Emergency Care and Safety Institute First Aid and CPR certifications.
