Fellow Bishops Fan,

The 2012-2013 athletics season is just around the corner, and our Battling Bishops staff is hard at work preparing for another successful campaign… and we need your help!  The support of our alumni, fans and community is essential to the success of our programs, and we are inviting you to aid in this effort by joining and/or renewing your membership in the Battling Bishops Club today!

Last season, our athletic teams captured a trio USA South Championships and made one NCAA Sweet 16 appearance. Individually, we had six student-athletes garner All-American honors, while 50 earned All-Conference accolades. Most impressively, our student-athletes were equally as successful in the classroom as we had 58 Battling Bishops named to the USA South Academic All-Conference team.

The Department of Athletics hopes to build on these successes during the upcoming season, but we understand that a successful athletics program depends on the dedication of our staff, the passion of our student-athletes and the support of our alumni, fans and community. As we look to the future of Wesleyan athletics, our BBC members play a vital role in helping our programs fulfill their most immediate and pressing needs.

The BBC provides direct support to these needs. Your tax deductible donation can be designated to the team/program of your choice or to the department as a whole.  Either way, you will become an integral part of our athletic success here at the College.

As an individual member of the Battling Bishops Club, you will receive a membership card that gives you free admission to all Wesleyan athletic events (excluding post-season tournaments). Other perks include BBC t-shirts and decals, as well as a chance to sign up for e-mail updates on all of our sports teams.  Our corporate members will receive additional opportunities for signage and advertisement.
